What a great experience! We had a couch set also from Spencer's that was 12 years old and we had traditional country prints. The couch had seen better days as the kids grew up. On Monday, Presidents day we bought the Lane Alpine leather set (couch, loveseat, and swivel car). We never thought we would switch to leather but the salesperson had us consider it after looking at the contemporary fabrics. Never did we feel we were being forced into the sale and were given plenty of time to make our choice.

This letter is written with deep appreciation to you and your staff for the wonderful service given to us. Our dilemma began about a month ago when we called for factory service on our Amana slide-in stove. The factory repair service, A&E, responded promptly to our request and submitted are pair estimate in the amount of $671.64, along with belittling comments on Whirlpool, currently owner of Amana, for price gouging on parts to justify the estimate.
Since the estimate was one-half the purchase price of an appliance less than five years in service, we began a search for a new stove, settling on Durocher's because of the satisfaction of a family within our church who purchased appliances from you. When we had reservations about the purchase of a new appliance and opted to consider repair of our existing stove, you graciously and patiently worked with us.
Today, our repair was completed to our total satisfaction for $183.50, with a lifetime guarantee for parts as opposed to A&E's 90 day warranty. Your service technician, Rick, was courteous and skilled, a wonderful representative of your company.
This letter seems a very inadequate expression of our thanks. If you think it helpful, you are free to use it as you see fit in furthering your business, and if you so chose, I would happily send a copy of it to Whirlpool Corp., as a testimony to good business practices
