very bad experience with samsung poir cust service. bought a new house seller advised me to pick out my appliace went to besy buy had several options coose alk samsung products 2 years latter color starts to peel off stove and has been treated very bad abd rude when trying just to get a replacement

Beautiful Stove, but faulty design

purchased this new stove with matching microwave with high expectations. after 3 months of use the front right ignitor failed. you can only "light" the eye with a match or lighter. my husband is very uncomfortable with introducing a match or lighter to gas, so he has stopped using that eye. the faulty design comes from the control panel being above the stove top; when i use the back eyes and/or the griddle eye the heat causes the comtrol panel to freeze up. the panel also freezes up when i wipe the smooth surface of the control panel with a paper towel. when the panel is in this frozen state it will not respond at all, we have to cut the power at the electrical panel (3 floors away). this stove is only a year old.

Don't buy this piece of trash!

this is my 7th. samsung product! i was so happy to find the tuscan finish and i bought the entire the set. (range, fridge and microwave). the range is very poor quality. the coating is very poor and i was accused of using water when i cleaned my oven! absolutely ridiculous! the entire set is perfect except the range! very disappointed!

Color comes off very easy

i loved the color and the grills on this stove, when first purchased. it is a beautiful stove. however within the first weeks of owning the stove i noticed the color comes off the stove very easily. it was small at first and with time it got worse. now the color has faded away and is silver. i only clean my stove with stainless wipes. dont use harsh chemicals or sponge.

Should have returned after first issue

full disclosure, we bought this 5 years ago, purchased extended warranty and needed a new grate when installed. a couple of months later, the enamel on the oven floor started to chip. samsung replaced the bottom panel and i hoped all would be ok. about a year ago, after cleaning the oven, little chips of enamel started flaking off. i've resorted to having to vacuum enamel chips on a regular basis, and now the metal is corroding. ive made several attempts to have it serviced under the warranties, only to be told they don't cover cosmetic damage. since i'd prefer to not burn my house down, i'll be asking santa for a new stove from anyone but samsung and the local appliance store that won't even return calls.

Controll panel warping/Broke. Panel now shows -se-

We took control of the Range in November. Loved all the features. The only negative we have found is if you bump up against the knobs, it may turn or release the gas on the burners. If you happen to turn the knob just a little the blue light come on and you can tell it is on visually. There has not been any other issues.

oven would not light. took 6 service calls and 2 months time to correct the problem by replacing a safety switch and other parts and elec boards. still in dispute with mfg about charges that was requested by mfg/service tech that was paid by customer. would not recommend this MFG brand range. may change my mind if mfg refunds my money.
