I was looking for an extra fridge for my garage. I ordered it and when it was delivered it was one of the hottest days ever on record. I plugged it in, cleaned it up and boy this little guy has been doing a great job even in the extreme heat. Definitely worth the money. I recommend this fridge to anyone who needs a great fridge.

I purchased this 18.3 cu ft Fridgedaire Top Freezer Refrigerator to replace a Samsung Counter Depth French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator that was only 6 years old. My experience with the Samsung appliance was not particularly good. During the warranty period I had to have it serviced twice due to a known weakness in that model, and after warranty the freezer quit working. When talking with service providers it was recommended that it just wasn't worth trouble shooting to try to fix the Samsung unit. They told me that with the service charge and likely necessary parts it would just be too costly to repair to make it worth doing so and advised me that Fridgedaire is a more reliable product at a modest price point. I have had this Fridgedaire appliance for just under a week now but it is quiet, and fits in the space I had for my refrigerator and seems to be cooling evenly and efficiently. I did not give it 5 Stars only because the power cord on it didn't reach to where I previously plugged in my former refrigerator and I had to use a different outlet for it. Thank goodness I had another outlet that the power cord would reach to. Also, my house has hardwood floors and was built in 1943, so the house has done some settling since then and in some places my flooring isn't exactly level. The leveling feet in the front of the unit didn't expand far enough to level the fridge and the delivery guys and I had to use a stack of under furniture protection pads under the leveling feet to remedy this situation. If not for these two issues I would have given 5 Stars for my review.
