I have been looking for an upright stainless steel freezer for a while. I had a frigidaire chest freezer that lasted me years that took a beating and still worked but I wanted an upright. I decided to stay with Frigidaire since my last one lasted so long it looks great holds alot love it .

This freezer was purchased to go in a very hot garage. It is working great and is holding a constant temperature even on the hottest of days. It has a lot of interior room for its compact size. Overall this was a very good purchase.

So happy to have a 16 cubic foot upright after years with a 5 cubic chest freezer. The freezer is quiet and keeps ice cream frozen solid. The interior is well designed with roomy shelves and great door storage too. The door shelves store canning or other glass jars perfectly. Using cheap plastic baskets with ventilated holes allows me to sort and easily reach anything. The floor green light is a nice touch. The interior LED light is also nice and bright. Fits the space I had in my utility room perfectly. So asking for a review when I have owned less than a month is a little sneaky. My last Kenmore chest freezer was given away after 40 years of work while still working great. Will I get 40 years out of my new upright frost-free Fridgaire? ??

We bought one when we first built our house and it was on back order forever due to coming out of Covid 19. Since having it all we have is praise for the freezer. It a nice size for a family of two or three. Since we plant an above ground garden this year we have an abundance of vegetables that we vacuum sealed and freeze. Instead of overstocking this freezer we bought the same exact one to store nothing but vegetables in. We are so happy and enjoy these products. I would highly recommend these freezers to everyone.!

This is an excellent product designed for use in a garage environment. This is in addition to our freezer/refrigerator in our house. We ordered it on a Saturday and it was delivered the following Monday. Excellent service provided by Lowes in Canandaigua, NY.

So far so good...I needed a new freezer so I ordered this one, does what it's supposed to, so far so good. I love the light on the bottom and the way it beeps to let you know if it has been left open. Great freezer....now let's just hope it lasts long enough for the price tag to be worth it!

Love that this freezer is garage ready and can fluctuate from 0F to 110F temperatures because it is in my garage. Love the new Even temp cooling system with smart sensing that circulates cold air from the top to the bottom of the freezer keeping all the food frozen evenly and also that it is a frost free freezer. Shelves are durable. Has lights inside so you can see inside and has a light underneath the unit so you'll know that it is currently on and working. My last Frigidaire freezer lasted 13 years so we needed to replace. Great product and price was great. My only wish though would be that this model had a door lock and key like my last freezer just incase food may shift and open the door accidentally when I wasn't home.

Seems fine™¦ we™™ve only had it installed for about 3 weeks. We would have liked a real handle to open the door rather than the ™indentations™ to pull it openWe chose it because it fit in a ™skinny™ spot in our kitchen. It replaced a 15 year old Frigidaire freezer that died. Its ™matching™ fridge is still fine but unfortunately you no longer make the sets. When we purchased the Frigidaire fridge and freezer 15 years ago, we also purchased a Frigidaire double oven and cooktop. Knock on wood, they are still doing fine!

We are so happy we purchased the Frigidaire Upright Freezer to replace a still good chest freezer. I chose Frigidaire because it is a trusted brand. The Frigidaire Freezer does it job quietly and the model I bought matches the stainless steel appliances in our kitchen. It is very spacious for its size. Although it will work in a garage, we put in the kitchen because it looks good there too. Now everything is within easy reach. No more digging in a chest freezer and no more frost.

Since our vegetable garden did well & a 1/2 a cow of 600 lbs.of fresh beef was ready to pick up, we needed to get a big freezer pretty quick. We have had other smaller & cheaper chest & upright freezers, but love this Frigidaire upright freezer. In my research on storing 600 lbs. of frozen fresh beef, it was stated to have a 7 cu.ft. freezer. It could be done but it would be over-packed tight! Had to pay $$$ more for this Fridgedair 16 cu.ft. upright freezer. It turned out to be a perfect storage size inside and great size all around. I was rushed in buying new freezer but I did take my time to research & compared other brands, sizes & price. This one excelled on reviews and was worth paying more for Frigidaire than the others This freezer sits nicely in our partially finished basement. The motor/compressor are extremely QUIET !!! The bright green function light at bottom is nice and good for a nightlight! Also, door alarm is great to have!! Gives me more security in knowing freezer is working as it should be. I have a freezer thermometer inside to make sure the freezer IS doing the job. I did look at other chests and uprights at 7 cu.ft. & trying to save money. But I decided, for the price, to get the larger upright freezer. The upright design is much easier to use & this Fridgedair upright design makes it easy to organize food and the indoor light is really nice and BRIGHT to see my frozen items very well. Designed well for ease of use & CONVENIENT. The price was a little high for us, but we saved up money for months due to our fixed low income & being retired early from disabilities. So far, I believe this freezer is a good investment.*** There's only (1) big point and (2) small points I preferred to have which are...#(1) - Manufacturer Warranty should be up to at least 3 - 5 years.#(2) - Needs to have adjustment on all legs/rollers for perfect leveling as required in manual (I had to use shims). BUT having ROLLERS on bottom is GREAT.#(3) - Prefer shelves inside door to be adjustable. BUT, the fixed shelf spacing is pretty good. All our other appliances are Frigidaire and going on 16 years. So I hope this new freezer will last much longer. Just now going on 3 weeks of use. Soo, We'll see...

Freezer was very difficult to level, because the screws on the feet didn't work at all, so my husband had to put shims underneath both front feet. It still rocks a bit, so will need more adjustments to the shims. We've never found it difficult to level a fridge or freezer before, so this was very frustrating.Other than that, the freezer cooled down quickly and is well lit inside. Controls are easy to operate.

Freezer failed within 3 months of purchase. Lost everything in the freezer. Frigidaire sent a tech out and determined the defrost was out. But of course it was backordered for 3months. So every month I had to unload and use a blow dryer to defrost the coils. It again went out 6 months later and now out again. Frigidaire is sending out a complimentary tech for free service and parts because it™™s a month out of the one year warranty. We have lost food 3 times in the freezer within 1yr over this issue.

Freezer was very easy to get going with an easy-to-operate dial for temperature settings located on the back wall of the freezer. One downside: the power cord was so short that we had to move the outlet closer. Please provide at least a 6 foot power cord!
